Substandard first-generation Nissan Juke debuted in two thousand 10 years and has been on the assembly line for almost 10 years, surviving only one restyling in 2014. The presentation of a completely new, second-generation was held in two thousand nineteen, and in several European cities at once. The final show with the commercial prototype will be held in autumn on the podium of the Frankfurt Motor Show. The manufacturer has tried very hard to retain the signature features of the unique version, thanks to which it has sold out in wide circulation. Almost a million cars have been sold in Europe alone. The new generation received a modernized global platform of the Renault-Nissan concern, a small-sized unit with a high specific capacity, a more spacious interior. It has received less pretentious design, but has wider opportunities for personalization. Thus, the manufacturer offers several color interior trim schemes. You can also see the seats with headrests inserted, for an additional fee they will receive suede trim. As for the exterior, the car has retained the two-storey scheme of headlights. At the bottom, as before, arranged round headlights, and a little higher – more narrow LED sections, adjacent to the grille. It is made in the corporate style of V-Motion and has the same design as the pads at the bottom.
Dimensions.
The Nissan Juke is a small-sized urban crossover. After change of generation it has got over on modular platform CMF-B which is also applied in European Renault Captur (not to be confused with Russian Kaptur). Thanks to a more modern structure and increased content of durable steels, the dry weight of the car managed to reduce by 20-300 pounds, despite the fact that it has palpably increased in size. The second-generation Juke has four thousand two hundred and 10 mm in length, one thousand eight hundred mm in width and one thousand five hundred and ninety-five mm in height. The manufacturer has considered one of the main problems of the last generation, namely tight cabin, especially in the gallery. After the upgrade, the distance between the rows increased by 50 eight mm, and above the head appeared additional eleven mm. The trunk is also larger. In the standard position, when loaded under the rear shelf, the car can hold up to four hundred and twenty-two liters.. The former version had only three hundred and fifty-four liters.
Technical features.
So far, the manufacturer has announced only one version of the Nissan Juke. It will get a liter three-cylinder engine. It is also installed on Micra. Corresponding features of the motor is a specific fuel supply and the presence of a turbocharger system. With such a set, the engineers managed to squeeze 100 seventeen horsepower from such a moderate volume. As a transmission, the six-speed manual is offered by default. A seven-speed preselective manual transmission with 2 clutches is available at extra cost. This tandem entails front-wheel drive only. Suspension gets semi-independent architecture. McPherson struts in the front with stiff arms and a subframe, and a semi-independent torsion bar in the rear.
