Before you start
- The current team member has the right to create bulk messaging tasks and has a usable sending account.
- The recipient has agreed to the relevant contact, and the content and delivery arrangements comply with corporate policies.
- During the execution of the scheduled task, the computer and client should be kept available, and the required network should be continuously connected.
Where to find it
Client → Bulk messaging → Create a new bulk messaging task; Task list → View to check the sending results.
First clarify the target of this sending #
First determine the purpose and scope of the task, such as sending new information to customers who have subscribed to product updates, or sending scheduled notifications to the company's own service bulk messaging. Do not directly create a sending task using a collected list of unknown numbers or members of other groups.
Before preparing content, first confirm which account to use to send it, and whether the customer or group really needs to receive this information. Creating a task does not mean that you have obtained contact permission.
Create new tasks and filter customers #
- Turn on bulk messaging and create a new bulk messaging task.
- Select the customer range to be imported into the pool, not followed up, followed up or in collaboration according to business needs.
- Further screen customer sources and stages when needed.
- Checking the filtering results, the data shows that multiple conditions will filter out customers who meet the conditions at the same time, so more conditions do not necessarily mean more customers.
- You can also create tasks by tag or group, and double-check the actual recipients before sending.
Set up sending content and conduct small-scale testing #
Bulk messaging content supports text, pictures, videos and files, and is prepared in the form available in the current editor. Check whether the file is correct, whether the date and link are valid, whether the expression is suitable for the recipient, and do not put other customer information into public content.
When using a certain material or task configuration for the first time, first verify the content and sending account among the test contacts or test groups that have agreed to cooperate, and then create a task of formal scope. Do not send in bulk to confirm that the configuration is correct.
Choose delivery method and time #
You can choose to send it immediately or at a scheduled time. Before timing, check the date, time and explanation displayed on the page. The data does not specify time zone rules, so do not guess the time zone used by the task based on local computer time.
The sending interval represents the interval between sending to a receiving object and the next object. It should be set according to interface requirements and enterprise sending policies, any fixed number of seconds is not guaranteed to circumvent platform restrictions. When executing scheduled tasks, you should keep the computer and client working and the network online; you cannot assume that it will still be completed automatically in the cloud after shutting down.
Go to the task list to see the actual results #
- Check the sending account, recipient, content and time again before submitting.
- After the task is created, check the status in the bulk messaging task list.
- Click View to check the success of message delivery and available read information.
- Distinguish between task creation, execution, message sent successfully and customer read, and do not replace any one of them with other items.
- In case of failure, check the specific results before deciding what to do; do not resend the entire list without checking.
Check your result
- The task reception range is consistent with the expected customer conditions, groups, and labels.
- The test subject received the correct content and the sending account was correct.
- The execution status in the task list is reconciled with the item-by-item delivery results.
- The date, time interpretation and execution environment of the scheduled task have been confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
When customer source and stage are screened at the same time, is it enough to meet any one condition?
Information description: Screen customers who meet the conditions at the same time. When there is a small number of people, you should first check the conditions and customer information, and do not treat multiple conditions as expanding the scope.
Can I shut down the computer after creating a scheduled task?
This information requires that the computer remains working and connected to the Internet during execution, and there is no proof that it is still sent by the server after shutting down. Therefore, keep the client and network available, and actually check the results of task execution.
Does showing that the task is successful mean that all customers have read it?
No. Task status, message sending results and read results are different information and need to be checked separately in viewing details; the absence of read information does not automatically mean that the sending failed.
