Before you start
- The corresponding client session has been entered, or the client's translation tool can be opened.
- Automatic translation requires available translation quota; admin console balance and recharge operations require corresponding permissions.
Where to find it
A-shaped icon next to the received message; Frequently used tools → Translation tool; Settings → Translation settings. Balance: admin console → Translation Management → Translation Balance.
Manually translate incoming messages #
- Open the customer conversation you want to read and confirm that the message comes from the target contact.
- Find the A-shaped translation icon to the left of the other party's message.
- Click on the icon to see the translation results.
- Check key information such as model, quantity, date, price, etc. against the original text; any ambiguities should be confirmed with the other party.
Translations of received messages are used to aid understanding and should not automatically commit to quotations or delivery conditions solely on the basis of the translation. If there is any doubt between the translation result and the meaning of the original text, the original text shall be retained as a basis for verification.
Translate content to be sent #
- Open the translation tool.
- Enter the text you want to translate and select the desired language.
- Check the translation results and check whether the numbers, proper nouns and expressions are consistent with this communication.
- Confirm that the current account and recipient are correct before sending the translation results.
- Go back to the session to verify what was actually sent.
Complete translation and content checking before sending. Completion of translation does not mean that the message has been sent, nor does it mean that the other party has received it.
Set up automatic translation #
Enter the automatic translation settings, first configure the required parameters according to the items actually provided on the page, and then confirm which type of chat you want to use. The available languages, parameter names and default values are subject to the current interface and are not listed one by one in this material.
Translation can be turned off in one-on-one or group chats if needed. For example, when you only need to process one-to-one customer messages, first check whether the group chat is turned on or off to avoid including unnecessary chats in automatic translation.
| field or switch | effect |
|---|---|
| customer language | The target language into which the emitted content needs to be translated. |
| my language | The reading language into which the received content needs to be translated. |
| Chat box translation | Controls the display of translations of content received within a session. |
| Input box translation | Take control of the translation of the content you prepare to send. |
Personal conversations and group conversations have chat box and input box switches respectively. After setting the direction, use one incoming message and one outgoing message to check the translation to avoid filling in the language direction backwards.
Pay attention to translation quota #
Automatic translation will consume credits. The data refers to it as bytes. The specific measurement method and charging caliber should be based on the actual display on the translation balance page, and do not directly convert it into a fixed number of messages.
When the quota is insufficient, personnel with corresponding permissions will enter the admin console for translation management, translation balance, and processing according to the recharge page. Please check the account, balance, package and price before purchasing; this article does not preset free quota, recharge amount or available period.
Check item by item when results do not appear #
- Confirm whether manual translation or automatic translation is used to avoid setting automatic parameters without opening the required chat range.
- Check your current language settings and switches for one-on-one or group chat.
- Check the available quota and whether the network is normal.
- First verify with a short test message, recording the original text, selected language and error message.
- If there are ambiguities in the translation results, they will be checked manually first without trial and error by repeatedly sending formal messages.
Check your result
- After clicking the translation icon of the received message, you can view the corresponding translation results.
- The text to be sent produces results in the expected target language and is sent to the correct session after confirmation.
- Automatic translation is only enabled for the intended chat range, and the balance has been checked.
Frequently asked questions
Can automatic translation be used for free forever?
You can't promise that. The information clearly states that automatic translation consumes a quota, which needs to be purchased after use. You should check the product page to see whether the current account includes a quota and its price.
Will turning off group translation affect one-to-one chat?
Information describing controls for turning off translation in one-to-one or group chats. After setting, please use test messages to check the actual range. Do not assume that one switch will necessarily affect all chats.
Can the translation be sent directly as the final quotation?
Key figures and commercial conditions still need to be checked before sending. Translation is used to assist communication and cannot replace the company's confirmation of quotations and commitments.
