Before you start
- Use an administrator account with customer management rights.
- The source of customer data, contact range and responsible team members have been confirmed, and the import template provided by the current system has been prepared.
Where to find it
SalesEpoch admin console → Account Management; import, assignment, and label operations are in the corresponding account list
Organize customers to be imported #
Administrators can centrally manage corporate customers, assign imported materials to team members, and configure labels in advance. Before starting, clarify the business sources, responsible team members and follow-up goals of these customers. Existing CRMs can also synchronize data through configured interfaces, but this manual does not provide interface addresses, authentication methods or field mappings, so API access needs to be implemented separately according to formal interface documents.
- Enter the corresponding list in customer management and click "Import".
- Download the template provided on the current page and organize customer information according to template fields and formats.
- Check necessary fields, number correspondences and classification information, and delete records that should not enter this task.
- Upload the completed template and follow the prompts on the current page to complete the import.
Classify first and then assign to responsible team members #
- Locate the newly imported customers in the customer list and spot-check whether the records are accurate.
- Select the records that need to be classified uniformly and use batch "labeling" to set the business classification. Tags configured in advance will be brought in when team members follow up with customers.
- Select the customer to be assigned this time, click "Assign", and select the corresponding team member or team member according to the current window.
- Submit after reviewing the client scope and receiving personnel. The specific allocation method, quantity limit and conflict prompts are subject to the current window.
- Ask the receiving staff to check whether the customer is within their follow-up range and check against the preset tags.
Classification tags and responsible team members have their own functions: tags help identify customer characteristics, and allocation determines who is responsible for follow-up. Just labeling does not mean that the assignment of responsible persons has been completed.
Check follow-up results #
Check the company-wide follow-up customer information in the relevant customer section of the admin console, and check the stages and follow-up status of assigned customers. During the inspection, specific customer records are combined, and the status of a list is not directly used as a conclusion on the quality of the team member's work. The information explains that the administrator can check whether the tasks of the day are completed, but there is no unified calculation caliber for "completion". The company should first agree on what operations will represent follow-up completion.
Customer not found after importing or assigning #
- Confirm that the currently downloaded template is used and check the import prompts.
- Check the company, customer list and filter conditions to avoid customers being hidden by tags or status conditions.
- Check if only the import was successful and the allocation has not been performed yet.
- Check whether the receiving team member account is correct, and check their product qualifications and related role permissions.
The manual does not explain the rules for merging duplicate numbers, the order in which they are covered, or how to withdraw allocation. If there is duplicate data, first check the results in a small range and then decide on the batch processing method.
Check your result
- The imported customers can be found in the admin console and the fields are checked to be correct.
- Prospective customers have been assigned to the correct team member or team member.
- Employees can view this batch of customers, and the labels preset by the administrator are displayed along with the data.
Frequently asked questions
Can we sync customers directly from our existing CRM?
The manual states that synchronization after API docking is supported, but no operational interface details are provided. The configuration needs to be completed according to the official interface document first, and then the synchronization and distribution can be verified.
Does batch labeling still need to be allocated after batch labeling?
Assignments need to be checked individually against work schedule. Tags are used for classification and do not replace the assignment of responsible persons.
What should team members do if they cannot find the newly imported customers?
Check whether the customer has been assigned, whether the receiving team member is correct, whether the list filter hides records, and whether the team member has the corresponding permissions.
