Before you start

  • The proxy service you are entitled to use and its correct connection parameters have been obtained and approved for use with the corresponding work account.
  • Employees need to be able to access client proxy settings; company sharing and admin console import require administrator rights.
  • Make it clear which WhatsApp account or account slot you want to configure this time to avoid changing to another account.

Where to find it
Employee pre-storage: Client→Settings→Agent settings; Account configuration: the operation area of a WhatsApp account; Administrator: admin console →Agent management→Agent settings→New or import.

First confirm the proxy parameters and target account #

Proxy settings are used to allow specific WhatsApp accounts to use the appropriate network connection. First confirm the target account or account slot, and then prepare the connection parameters given by the service provider. The address, account slot, and authentication information should correspond to the current form one by one. Do not guess based on experience, and do not expose credentials in public screenshots or chats.

When configuring multiple accounts, first sort out the correspondence between accounts and agents. Configuring a proxy does not automatically create a WhatsApp account, nor does it prove that the account is logged in or that messages can be sent and received.

Employees are pre-entered and grouped #

  1. Enter settings and proxy settings on the client.
  2. Enter the parameters of the existing agent according to the current form.
  3. Group the agents; you can directly fill in the group name when creating a group for the first time.
  4. After completing the entry, check the corresponding relationship between parameters and groupings.
  5. When setting up a proxy for a WhatsApp account slot later, select the configuration in the corresponding group to avoid repeated manual filling.

Configure and detect accounts #

  1. Enter the operation area of the target WhatsApp account and select the required proxy configuration; multiple account slots can also use the batch addition entry.
  2. Check the account range and agent parameters involved this time.
  3. Follow the interface to complete the setup and use the detection agent to check the connection.
  4. Use View account slot IP to check the network exit displayed for that account slot.
  5. After passing the test, check the account login status and actual message sending and receiving respectively.

Proxy detection is a network-level check and cannot be used as a guarantee of successful account association, message delivery, or stability.

Administrator unified entry and distribution #

The administrator enters the admin console agent management and agent settings, clicks New and enters the parameters. When configuring, you can set it to be used by everyone in the company, or specify a team member to use it. The visible range should be checked before submission.

When batch input is required, you can use the upper right corner to import and prepare files according to the requirements of the current import window. Once imported by the administrator, team members can select assigned proxies in the client proxy settings. The information does not specify a unified import format or quantity limit, so you should not make any guesses.

When proxy detection or selection fails #

  1. Check whether the parameters are complete and correspond to the current proxy service.
  2. Check whether the selected group and WhatsApp account slot are correct.
  3. When team members cannot see the administrator configuration, first check whether it is assigned to the team member.
  4. When the detection fails, record the prompt and contact the enterprise network manager or agency service provider for verification.
  5. After the network is restored, you still need to check the account status; the refresh operation cannot be regarded as a commitment to restore login.

Check your result

  • The target account slot uses the expected proxy, and the detection results and exit information can be verified.
  • Stored agents appear in the correct grouping.
  • The team member designated by the administrator can select the corresponding configuration, and the access scope is in line with expectations.
  • After proxy detection, account connection and message sending and receiving are checked separately.

Frequently asked questions

Does successful proxy detection mean WhatsApp is connected?

Doesn't mean. It is also necessary to check the actual login status of the account and use the test contact to complete sending and receiving messages.

Why can’t team members see the agent added by the admin console?

Administrators can restrict use to specified team members. First check the agent allocation range, current team member and client selected group.

Do all accounts have to use the same proxy?

Data can be configured individually for each WhatsApp account or account slot, and can also be added in batches. It should be configured according to the enterprise network arrangement, and it is not assumed that they must be shared or must be independent.
