Before you start

  • Prepare customer information that you have the right to use and have agreed to be contacted to avoid directly importing the collection results of unfamiliar numbers for bulk messaging.
  • The customer import function can be used; the administrator needs corresponding admin console permissions to assign customers.
  • Download the import template from the current admin console and do not guess the column names and file formats by yourself.

Where to find it
Template: admin console →Customer management→Leads→Import→Download template; the "Customer" area of the client address book supports creating customers and importing them.

Single customer and batch data are processed separately #

A small number of customers can be created in the customer area of the client address book and fill in their information. The customer information entered during creation will be synchronized to the customer profile. After completion, the customer profile should be opened for verification.

Use import when there are already batches of data. Before starting, make it clear who will follow up on these customers, what information needs to be filled in, and whether this is just a test, so as to avoid submitting the same document repeatedly in multiple places.

Get the current template from the admin console #

  1. Enter the admin console customer management.
  2. Open the clue and then enter import.
  3. Click to download the template and use the currently downloaded template to organize the information.
  4. Fill in the phone number and other customer information according to the actual columns in the template; verify the uncertain fields first, and do not add unsupported columns by yourself.
  5. Check the file content and first prepare a small amount of test records to verify the field correspondence.

File extension, phone number format, required fields and quantity limits should be implemented according to the actual requirements of the import window or template. This document does not give uniform values.

  4. Randomly check the customer's phone number and information fields, and then open the customer profile to confirm that the content has been matched.
  5. After verification, the remaining formal information and subsequent distribution will be processed.

Imported customers will be displayed in the import pool and enter the unfollowed range; after sending a message for the first time, they will enter the followed range. Whether it belongs to the import source and whether it has been followed up are different dimensions. You cannot judge whether the data has been deleted by just looking at one of the lists.

Confirmed by team member after assigned by administrator #

Both administrators and team members can import customers. After the administrator imports, he can also assign customers to team members. When assigning, it will be processed according to the company's customer attribution rules, and the receiving team members will check the target customers and information in their own team members.

This information does not expand on the specific buttons assigned by customers, duplicate number processing and import rollback mechanisms. When duplication or allocation discrepancies occur, first check the original files, import records and received team members, and do not assume that the system will automatically deduplicate or revoke them.

Check your result

  • This time customers can be found in the import pool, and expected new customers are displayed in the unfollowed range.
  • Check that the customer information corresponds to the original template and is displayed in the customer profile.
  • After the administrator assigns it, the receiving team members can find the target customers within their own available customer range.

Frequently asked questions

Can team members import customers themselves?

Yes, it is clear that both administrators and team members can import the data. After the administrator imports it, it can also be assigned to team members; the actual operable scope still needs to comply with the account permissions.

After sending a message, why does the customer no longer appear as unfollowed?

Not followed up means there has been no contact before; after sending a message to the customer, it will enter followed up. Please search by follow-up status and do not re-import it.

What will happen if I import the same mobile phone number repeatedly?

This document does not describe rules for merging or covering duplicate numbers. Current behavior should be checked with test data first to avoid assuming that duplicate imports will automatically deduplicate.
